Social Security and Medicare group endorses DiNicola

Erie, PA (Oct. 24, 2018) — Congressional candidate Ron DiNicola has won the endorsement from the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare.

The group made the endorsement on behalf of its millions of members and supporters, including 4,805 in Pennsylvania’s 16th District, where DiNicola is running against incumbent Congressman Mike Kelly. The advocacy group’s goal is to protect Social Security and Medicare.

“Our nation needs your leadership, vision and determination to fight for working families and older Americans,” Max Richtman, president of the organization and board chairman, said in a letter to DiNicola.

“You earned the endorsement of the National Committee because you understand and support the critical roles that Social Security and Medicare play in the retirement and health security of our nation’s older citizens and their families,” he said.

“I am honored to get this endorsement, which affirms my commitment to preserve Social Security and Medicare,” DiNicola said. “This is particularly important at a time in which Congressman Kelly and other career politicians continue to try to dismantle Social Security and Medicare in ways that would devastate seniors and put working families’ futures at risk.”

The endorsement comes on the heels of DiNicola’s endorsement by Social Security Works, which helps candidates who support programs important to seniors.
